Hazel Floyd is the Democratic candidate for the Alabama House of Representatives, District 38, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where she faces incumbent Republican Kristin Nelson.[1][2]
Floyd won the Democratic primary for District 38 on May 19, 2026, defeating Christopher Davis with 73.8 percent of the vote.[1] She had previously been the Democratic nominee in the February 3, 2026, special general election for the same seat, which Nelson won with 84.7 percent of the vote to Floyd's 15.2 percent.[1]
