Biography
Hannah Cole is the Democratic candidate for the Oklahoma House of Representatives, District 86, in the November 3, 2026 general election, where she faces Republican incumbent David Hardin.[1] A health care professional, she said in a Ballotpedia survey that her priorities include protecting rural land and water, improving access to rural health care, and funding public schools.[1][2]
Hannah Cole graduated from Tahlequah High School, completed education at the Indian Capital Technology Center in 2011, and lists health care professional as her profession.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, she said she was born at Hastings hospital and raised in Northeast Oklahoma on a small hobby farm, where her father was a carpenter and her mother was a nurse.[2] She said she has since moved back to her late father's land.[2]
In the survey, Cole named protecting rural land, water and working families, improving practical access to care, and putting community needs over party pressure as her key messages.[2] She said she would fight to fully fund rural public schools and oppose diverting taxpayer dollars from public education to private systems, and that as a nurse she supports protecting and expanding Medicaid.[2]
