Biography
Fred Fogel is the Libertarian candidate for Hawaii State Senate District 2 in the November 3, 2026 general election, facing Democratic incumbent Joy San Buenaventura.[1]
Fogel served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1971 to 1976, earned a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1971 and a graduate degree from the University of Southern California in 1975, and was retired as of 2026.[1]
He has appeared on Hawaii general election ballots before, as the Libertarian candidate for House District 3 in 2018, and in 2022 for Senate District 2 and in 2024 for House District 5, in each case losing to the incumbent.[1]
