Erin Rudner is the Democratic candidate for the South Dakota House of Representatives District 3 (2 seats) in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Republicans Tim Hanigan and Spencer Sommers; the race has no incumbents.[1][2] Rudner also ran for the seat in 2024.[2]
Erin Rudner was the Democratic candidate for District 3 in 2024, finishing third with 27.7% of the vote behind Republicans Brandei Schaefbauer and Al Novstrup.[2] She advanced from the 2026 Democratic primary without appearing on the ballot after the primary was canceled.[2]
