Biography
Don Kissick is the Libertarian nominee for governor, running with James Mills, and a Navy veteran who says Ohio needs a government with someone who has "actually punched a clock in their life." He was previously the Libertarian nominee for Ohio's 5th Congressional District in 2018 and for U.S. Senate in 2024.[1][2][3]
Kissick served six years in the U.S. Navy, according to his campaign website, including two deployments to the Middle East during Desert Storm/Desert Shield and Southern Watch.[3] The site says he moved to Ohio in 2007 and to Ottawa in 2014, and that northwestern Ohio is home to his family.[3]
