Deirdre McEachern

Deirdre McEachern is a Democratic candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Carroll 6, in the November 3, 2026 general election; she advanced from the September 8 Democratic primary.[1][2] A Wolfeboro resident, she describes herself on her campaign website as a former head of school, small business coach and 25-year New Hampshire business owner.[3]

McEachern says on her campaign website that she is the daughter of an immigrant and a graduate of public schools, and that she spent three decades building businesses, coaching entrepreneurs, leading schools and teaching college students.[3] She says she worked her way through college and later earned a master's degree in conflict resolution from Trinity College Dublin and became a Master Certified Career and Small Business Coach.[3] She served as head of school at an independent Pre-K through Grade 8 school and continues to serve on its board of trustees.[3]

McEachern's website says she is a member of the Wolfeboro Lions Club, serves on the Wolfeboro Festival of Trees steering committee, volunteers on the development committee of the Wentworth Watershed Association and sits on the board of directors of the Star Island Corporation.[3] Her website lists strong public schools, reasonable taxes, housing within reach, protecting land and lakes, and supporting business and infrastructure as her issues.[3]
