Biography
David Croswell is the Republican candidate for Hawaii State Senate District 9 in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1] A software engineer and small-business owner who lives in East Honolulu, he says he is running on affordability, accountability and families.[1][2]
Croswell earned a high school diploma from Christian Heritage School and a bachelor's degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2002, and his career experience includes working as a software engineer.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he described himself as a husband, father of three, small-business owner and longtime Hawaii resident raising his family in East Honolulu, with a background in small business, software engineering and project and program management.[2]
Croswell named three campaign messages in the survey: affordability, including lower everyday costs and fewer barriers to housing and small businesses; accountability, including stronger oversight and transparency in the legislative process; and putting families first, including parental rights and a focus on core academics in schools.[2]
