Biography

Daniel Darris-O'Connor is the Democratic candidate for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, 22nd Middlesex District, in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against incumbent Republican Marc Lombardo.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he described himself as a lifelong Billerica resident who works in the aviation industry and has served on the Billerica Select Board.[3]

Daniel Darris-O'Connor earned a high school diploma from Billerica Memorial High School.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, he said his path to public service began during the pandemic, when he got involved in state-level campaigns and served as a student representative on the Billerica School Committee.[3] He later ran for the Select Board, and he said his work there included helping recruit a new town manager, assistant town manager and town legal counsel, casting a tie-breaking vote on water infrastructure investments, and supporting budgets that fully fund the public works, police and fire departments.[3]

Darris-O'Connor said in the survey that he would press for Billerica's share of state funding and work to lower the cost of living for working families and seniors.[3] He also listed the local economy, health care, education and government accountability among his priorities.[3]
