DCandidate

On the ballot Nov 3, 2026: Florida House District 31

Biography

Daniel Cicirelli is the Democratic candidate for the Florida House of Representatives, District 31, in the November 3, 2026 general election, against Republican Matt Woodside; there is no incumbent in the race.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, his listed career experience includes work as a life safety systems consultant, an electrical systems estimator, and a small business owner doing handyman work.[2]

Cicirelli was born in Rockledge, Florida, and earned an associate degree from Eastern Florida State College in 2018, according to his Ballotpedia survey.[1][2] He listed affiliations with the Florida Democratic Party, the Brevard Democratic Party, Space Coast Progressive Alliance, Equality Florida, Save our Indian River Lagoon, Awake Brevard, and the Democratic Environmental Caucus, among others.[2]

In the survey, Cicirelli said his goal is to end the "culture war" and build what he called a culture of abundance and connection, with equal protection under state law for all Floridians.[2] He also said that the level of government able to fully address a problem should be the one that solves it, and that moving power to Tallahassee harms Floridians.[2]
