Dallas Kephart is a Republican state representative from Clearfield County who has represented Pennsylvania House District 73 since December 2022 and is seeking re-election on November 3, 2026.[1][2] An attorney, he previously worked for a judge on the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court.[1]
Kephart grew up in Decatur Township, Clearfield County, graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola High School, and graduated magna cum laude from Lock Haven University, according to his official biography.[1] As an undergraduate he interned for Congressman Glenn Thompson and spent summers working in the coal industry.[1] He earned a law degree from Penn State Law, where he served as a law clerk to the U.S. House Oversight Committee, and then worked for a judge on the Commonwealth Court.[1]
Kephart's biography says he is in his second term and lists his legislative priorities as job creation, defending the Pennsylvania and United States constitutions, and constituent services.[1] He serves on the Energy; Environmental and Natural Resource Protection; Finance; Gaming Oversight; and Government Oversight committees.[1] Ballotpedia lists him as the only candidate in the general election for the district.[2]
