Biography
Connor Murray is the Democratic candidate for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, 18th Essex District, in the November 3, 2026 general election, running against Republican Christopher Shepley in a race with no incumbent.[1] He graduated from Andover High School and earned a bachelor's degree from Iona University in 2025.[1]
In a Ballotpedia survey, Murray said he is running because public service is about showing up, listening and delivering results, and that he has held regular office hours, volunteered with local organizations, toured businesses and knocked on doors across the district.[2] He named the district's communities as Andover, North Andover, Tewksbury and Boxford and said he is focused on housing and health care costs, public schools, the environment and local businesses.[2] Murray listed accessibility as a key campaign message, saying he would remain present in the district and on Beacon Hill.[2]
