Biography
Christopher Wier is the Democratic candidate for Oklahoma House of Representatives District 4 in the November 3, 2026 general election, where he faces Republican incumbent Bob Ed Culver.[1] A musician and community advocate from Stigler, he says he is running on rural education, health care and infrastructure.[1][2]
Wier was born in McAlester, Oklahoma.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he said he was born and raised in Stigler and described himself as a musician, an advocate and a community leader.[2]
Wier's Democratic primary was canceled, and he advanced to the general election without appearing on the primary ballot.[1] He listed rural education, rural health care and rural infrastructure as his three campaign messages, and said that Cherokee County has a strong health care system but that this is not true for all Oklahomans.[2]
