Biography
Chris Tardif is the Democratic candidate for the New Hampshire State Senate, District 22, in the November 3, 2026 general election, facing Republican incumbent Daryl Abbas.[1][2] He chairs the Trustees of the Trust Funds in Atkinson and was elected to the Atkinson Budget Committee.[3]
Chris Tardif earned a high school diploma from Timberlane Regional High School and a bachelor's degree from Bentley University in 2005, and his listed career experience is in sales.[2]
In a Ballotpedia survey, Tardif's campaign said he currently chairs the Trustees of the Trust Funds in Atkinson and was elected to the Atkinson Budget Committee with the highest number of votes among all candidates.[3] Ballotpedia also lists him as having sought the Democratic nomination for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District in 2026; he did not appear on that primary ballot on September 8, 2026.[2] For the Senate, the survey said he is focused on affordability, accountability, public safety and economic growth, and wants to reduce the burden of funding public education on property taxes by funding education from the state, as the Supreme Court has ruled.[3]
