Biography
Chris Reid is the Democratic candidate for Utah House of Representatives District 1 in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which he faces incumbent Thomas Peterson (R) and Jason O'Dell of the Constitution Party.[1][2] He advanced from the April 25, 2026 Democratic convention, and the June 23 Democratic primary was canceled.[1]
Chris Reid also sought the Democratic nomination for District 1 in 2024, when Claudia Bigler defeated him at the April 27, 2024 Democratic convention, 3 votes to 0.[1]
