Brett Wynkoop is the Republican and Conservative Party nominee challenging incumbent Jo Anne Simon for NY State Assembly District 52. A U.S. Merchant Marine Academy graduate and former Naval Reserve lieutenant who has worked in technology, run a charter sailboat business and taught computer science, he ran for this seat in 2022 and 2024 and for New York City Council District 39 in 2021 and 2025.[1][2][3]
