Biography
Bret Shultz is the Republican candidate for Kentucky House of Representatives District 35 in the November 3, 2026 general election, facing incumbent Lisa Willner (D).[1][2] He won the May 19 Republican primary with 73.1% of the vote.[2]
Shultz defeated Charles Jungbert, 931 votes to 342, in the 2026 Republican primary.[2] He was previously the Republican candidate for Louisville Metro Council District 21 in 2018, when he received 28.8% of the vote and Democrat Nicole George won.[2]
