Biography
Austin Wolf is the Democratic candidate for the South Dakota House of Representatives, District 6, in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2] A plumber and small business owner, he attended Yankton High School.[2][3]
In a Ballotpedia survey, Wolf described himself as a plumber, small business owner and lifelong South Dakotan who owns Austin Wolf LLC and previously owned Lou's Plumbing in Tea.[3] He said he is not running to represent a political party but to represent the people of District 6.[3]
Wolf listed his campaign messages as putting working families first, with attention to rising property taxes, housing costs and infrastructure strain, and "people over party."[3] He said he is most passionate about affordability, responsible growth and practical governance, and about supporting small businesses and the skilled trades.[3]
