Biography
Annette McRae is the Utah Forward Party candidate for the Utah State Senate, District 20, in the November 3, 2026 general election, challenging Republican incumbent Ronald Winterton.[1][2] In a Ballotpedia survey, she described herself as a Utah small-business owner and community advocate.[3]
McRae said in her Ballotpedia survey that she is running because too many public decisions are made in isolation, creating long-term risks for families, workers and communities.[3] She said her work focuses on connecting transportation, housing, water, energy and air quality, and that she supports passenger rail, water reuse and responsible energy planning.[3] McRae named public safety, water conservation, housing affordability and constitutional governance among the policy areas she cares about most.[3]
