Biography
Anna Graff is the Democratic candidate for Utah House of Representatives District 12 in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which she faces incumbent Mike Schultz (R).[1][2] In a Ballotpedia survey, she described a background in community service and work at a county extension office, and named water and air protection, affordability and government transparency as her priorities.[3]
Anna Graff said in a Ballotpedia survey that she was a 4-H member as a child, became a county museum administrator at age 17, and has served on her city planning commission.[3] She said she later returned to work at her County Extension Office, where she worked with county commissioners, youth development, 4-H and community nutrition programs, and agriculture and horticulture specialists.[3] Graff also said she is a single parent of a child with special needs.[3]
Graff listed three key campaign messages.[3] The first is reporting requirements, with enforcement, for industries that use or affect water and air, including ending legal exemptions that keep water use confidential.[3] The second is addressing rising costs through housing access and more efficient utility use.[3] The third is transparency and accountability, including mandatory recusals, tighter consequences for concealing conflicts of interest, and campaign donation limits.[3]
