Biography
Anita Dalrymple is the Democratic candidate for Utah House of Representatives District 28 in the November 3, 2026 general election, in which she faces Republican incumbent Nicholeen Peck and Utah Forward Party candidate Wales Nematollahi.[1][2] She works in medical device quality and regulatory compliance and said in a Ballotpedia survey that she would focus on term limits, campaign contribution limits and government transparency.[2][3]
In a Ballotpedia survey, Anita Dalrymple said she was born and raised in Utah and has lived on a small ranch in Tooele County for more than 20 years.[3] She said she has a bachelor's degree in statistics from Brigham Young University and a master's degree in reliability engineering and a graduate certificate in bioengineering from the University of Maryland.[3] She said she has specialized in medical device development, with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance process improvements.[3]
Dalrymple said she would fight corruption through term limits, campaign contribution limits and limits on lobbyist influence.[3] She also said she would push for live government action webpages, public budget reviews and citizen oversight committees, along with more online services and meetings.[3] She named constitutional law, civil liberties, environmental protection and balanced budgets among her policy interests.[3]
