Andrew Beeler

Andrew Beeler is the Republican candidate for Michigan State Senate District 25 in the November 3, 2026 general election, having advanced from the August 4 Republican primary.[1] A U.S. Naval Academy graduate and Navy veteran, he served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2021 to 2025 and is now a small business owner in Port Huron.[1][2]

Beeler was born in Port Huron, graduated from Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School, and served in the U.S. Navy from 2010 to 2019.[1] He earned a bachelor's degree from the United States Naval Academy in 2014.[1] In a Ballotpedia survey, he said he was a surface warfare officer who deployed to the Western Pacific and the Arabian Gulf before leaving active duty in May 2019.[2]

Beeler won election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2020, defeating Stephanie Armstrong-Helton in District 83 with 65.5% of the vote.[1] He was re-elected in 2022 in District 64, first defeating incumbent Gary Eisen in the Republican primary and then Charles Howell in the general election.[1] His committee assignments in 2021-2022 included the Education, Health Policy, Military, Veterans and Homeland Security (as majority vice-chair) and Tax Policy committees.[1] In his survey, Beeler said he served as Republican caucus vice chair, as assistant Republican leader, and as chair of the House Republican Campaign Committee.[2] He said he did not seek re-election to the House, bought a small business in Port Huron, and announced his Senate campaign in November 2025.[2]

Beeler listed his key messages as "Families First," protecting farmers, and supporting small business.[2] He named public safety, tax reform, agriculture policy and constitutional rights as the policy areas he is most passionate about.[2]
