Amy Thompson is a Democratic candidate for Missouri House of Representatives District 119 in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1][2] A teacher, she said in a Ballotpedia survey that she is running "to give every voter a choice and a voice."[1][3]
Amy Thompson was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, and graduated from Lake Mills High School.[1] She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 1991 and a graduate degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2001, and her career experience includes working as an educator.[1]
