Biography
Amy Lavallee is an unenrolled candidate for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, 1st Franklin District, in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1] Ballotpedia lists her as the town clerk of Whately and a member of the Franklin County Regional Vocational Technical School District school board.[2]
Amy Lavallee graduated from Frontier Regional High School and earned an associate degree from Greenfield Community College.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, she described herself as a fourth-generation Whately resident who lives with her husband on a small homestead farm and is the mother of three grown children.[3] She said she worked in educational settings until 2005, in the medical field until 2021, and in municipal government since then, and that she is also a Justice of the Peace and a library associate.[3]
Lavallee said in the survey that she is an independent and non-partisan candidate rather than a politician, and that she wants to serve everyone in the district without a party lens.[3] She listed affordability and working families, rural communities and local control, and democracy and government accountability among her policy interests.[3]
