Biography
Allan Frank is the Democratic candidate for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Belknap 6, in the November 3, 2026 general election.[1] Frank is a retired airline pilot who lives in Gilford, and in a Ballotpedia survey he named public school funding and access to health care as his main priorities.[3]
Allan Frank earned an associate degree from Daniel Webster College in 1982 and a bachelor's degree from Rivier College in 1985.[2] In a Ballotpedia survey, he said he has lived in New Hampshire since 1969, when his family moved to Pittsfield, and that he completed his bachelor's degree in business management through night classes while working full time at a defense electronics company in Nashua and earning his pilot licenses.[3] He described himself as a retired airline pilot who lived in Amherst while raising two sons and moved to Gilford after retiring.[3]
Frank said in the survey that his campaign messages include opposing the diversion of public school money through education freedom accounts and open enrollment, and protecting health care coverage in light of 2026 changes to Medicaid in New Hampshire that add premiums, work requirements and higher drug copays.[3] He also said he wants centrist, responsible policymaking in Concord and wants rural hospitals to be able to continue serving their communities.[3]
