In their own words

Priorities

  • Continuing the office's legal challenges to Trump administration policies; he said the office files only actions "that involve the things that Marylanders talk about around the kitchen table," such as threatened transportation and education funding.[11]
  • Police accountability through the office's Independent Investigations Division, which he said, alongside body-worn cameras, is part of "the accountability and oversight that's necessary."[11]

Statements, quoted without a stance

  • Faster transition away from fossil fuels
“We are filing this lawsuit not just to protect Maryland today, but to protect the Maryland our loved ones will inherit tomorrow.”[7]
