Tim Fleming is the Republican nominee for Georgia Secretary of State. A state representative from Covington and a business owner, he previously served as deputy secretary of state under Brian Kemp.[1][2]

Fleming earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia.[3] He served as deputy secretary of state under then-Secretary of State Brian Kemp and later as chief of staff to Kemp when Kemp was governor.[2][4][5]
Fleming was first elected to the Georgia House in 2022 and represents District 114, which covers all of Morgan County and parts of Newton and Walton counties.[4][5] He recently chaired a legislative committee examining Georgia's election policies.[2]
He won the Republican nomination in the June 16, 2026 runoff.[4][5]
